The company was formally established in 1986, consisting of personnel of three parts:

① Technicians who are pioneers in domestic and at abroad to be engaged in the research and development of the technology with twenty years of experience and be engaged in theoretic research, basic research and application research of the technology.
② Technicians who have been engaged in the production of rigid macromolecule agglomeration micropore filtration filter and are pioneers in domestic and at abroad to organize and produce the products with eleven years of experience.
③ Technicians who have been engaged in the production of precise micropore filtration filter and are pioneers in domestic and at abroad to organize and produce the products with eleven years of experience.

Rigid macromolecule precise micropore filtration technology is the innovative new model filtration technology originally developed in China. Comparing filtration precision, removing method of filter cake, regeneration effect and anticorrosive performance with various filters taking filter cloth as the core, it has prominent characteristics and especially it has more prominent effect to the hard-to-filter materials during the industrial production. Therefore, many manufactures are interested in it, and some adopt it. Some manufacturers have obtained long-term successful application and received substantial economy benefits and social benefits due to their studiousness, meticulousness, scientificity and strictness during the reconstruction of traditional device by adopting the technology. However, comparing with the traditional filtration device with hundred years of history, the technology is still very immature whatever in its hardware or software. Especially the structural development of filter is still at a preliminary phase and there may have many actual problems during the application, even some of the problems are unknown. At that time, many manufacturers emerged, but most of them were small factories with low technical foundation that were only eager for quick success and instant benefits, so that many negative opinions to the technology appeared. All of these are because that the growth time of the new technology is too short and there is no mature experience from predecessors and too little scientific development force. Since its establishment twenty years ago till now, under the environment of short capital, poor hardware and sharp market competition, the company has always insists on taking the market as guide, regarding variety, quality and service as direction and seeing “cultivating talents and innovating technology” as support and made all efforts to develop the technology. From 1986 to 2005, 4 items of scientific achievements of the company have passed the provincial appraisal, in 1990, awarded the second prize of advanced technology by State Environmental Protection Administration of China and in 1991, awarded the third prize of advanced technology by National Medicine Bureau and Zhejiang Province. The precise micropore filtration technology with our company as the base has been successively appraised as “Key Promotion Plan Project of National Level Technology Achievements ” in 1992 and in 1997. In 1994, the precise micropore filter was appraised as National Level New Product by the State Economic Commission. In 1994, the company was appraised as Excellent Environmental Protection Enterprise by Zhejiang Province. In 2000, after inspected by National Administration of Quality and Technology Supervision, the company is identified as qualified enterprise. In 2001, the company firstly passed ISO9001 (2000) quality system certificate. In 2003, the company was appraised as “Middle and Small Scientific Enterprise” by Science and Technology Department of Zhejiang Province. In 2004, it obtained production license for pressure vessel. In 2005, the company was appraised as Provincial High-tech Enterprise by Zhejiang Province, and was apprised as A grade Contract Honoring and Credit Keeping Enterprise by Zhejiang Administration for Industry and Commerce.

The company has more than 10 items of inventions and utility model patents. The maximum filtration precision of rigid macromolecule agglomeration micropore filtration filter reaches 0.3μm, the tube type filter can reach 2m at one time molding and the plate type filter can reach 1.6 × 1.6m at one time molding. The filter board can resist various acid corrosive papers and can resist 0.6MPa compressed air counter pressure. The precise micropore filters produced by our company have 5 major models series, totaling almost 60 kinds of specifications. The micropore filtration can not only be used for precise clarification and filtration of liquid with small solid content, but also be used for filtration, washing and drying of superfine powder particles with much solid content.

In 2006, Technology Research and Development Center of Wenzhou Dong'ou Micropore Filtration Co., Ltd.” was established in the headquarter of the company and “Shanghai Dong'ou Micropore Filtration Technology Research Institute” was established in Shanghai, and the company has made a research and development plan for the future ten years, so as to develop the new technology in a deep and extensive manner.
